Verify message

1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Verify message” function.
3. The step is now displayed in the suxxesso Test Pilot recording script.
4. Click the “Edit step” button.
5. If you accept additional message numbers as a result of successful processing, add them using the “Add” button.
6. Certain message numbers return parameters (e.g. document number, order number, …).
   These parameters can be read out and used in the further course of the test case:
   • Select the relevant parameter for this purpose.
   • Select the “Read value in variable” editing option.
   • Specify a variable name.
7. Carry out point 6 for further parameters that are to be read out in variables.
8. Confirm the step with the “Apply” button.

Remark:
The manual step “Verify message” should always be inserted immediately in the recording mode when the status message is displayed in the SAP window. This way the status message can be read and verified immediately. The adjustments (as described in steps 5 and 6) can be made afterwards.
