Verify field

1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Verify field” function.
3. Select a text field or a checkbox in the open SAP window by clicking on it with the mouse (the selection is automatically marked by a red frame). The values of the selected field/checkbox are automatically transferred to the dialog window.
4. Analogous to the “Set field” function, the various operations for the field can be selected via the “Select operation” button:
   • Is value / Is not value: verify against a fixed value
   • Is variable / Is not variable: verify against a variable
   • Is empty / Is not empty
   • Contains value / Does not contain value: check against a partial value
   • Contains variable / Does not contain variable: check for a substring
   • Matches regular expression / Does not match regular expression: suxxesso Tool Suite uses the .net implementation of RegEx. Accordingly, all functions are limited only by this implementation. 5. Use the switch “Keep dialog open for further step” to insert several verification steps without closing the window in the meantime.
6. Accept your entries with the button “Insert”.

Remark:
The screen scaling must be set to 100% to ensure a problem-free control of the elements in the SAP window during the “live detection” (the red frame).
