Verify field against reference value

1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Verify field” function.
3. Select a text field or a checkbox in the open SAP window by clicking on it with the mouse (the selection is automatically marked by a red frame). The values of the selected field/checkbox are automatically transferred to the dialog window.
4. Select the operation “Is reference value”.
5. Use the switch “Keep dialog open for further step” to insert several verification steps without closing the window in the meantime.
6. Accept your entries with the button “Insert”.

This test case step can only be run correctly via a test case execution in the suxxesso Test Cockpit and triggers 2 different actions:

• Creation of a reference value
• Test against a reference value

Remark:
The screen scaling must be set to 100% to ensure a problem-free control of the elements in the SAP window during the “live detection” (the red frame).
