Test Case Management

All workspaces and the test cases stored in them are listed in the test case management.

Additionally, the following information is displayed for the test cases:

• x Uses: information about the test cases that call this test case as a building block
• x Calls: information about the test cases that are embedded as a building block in this test case
• x Test plans: information about the test plans in which the test case is executed

Test case management offers 2 important functions:

• Move test case: This function is used to move a test case to another workspace. This function is particularly important for building blocks so that the reference to the changed workspace is automatically adjusted in all building block calls.
• Changing the test case name: Click on the test case name to change it.

These two functions are executed in 3 steps:

• The user enters the change (move/rename).
• The workspaces are scanned via the “Preview” button and all test cases and/or test plans that are affected by the change are locked.
• The “Execute” button is used to carry out the changes and the test cases and/or test plans are released again after completion.
