Insert screenshot manually
Veröffentlicht14. April 2023

When recording processes in the SAP GUI, a screenshot is automatically created by server communication and inserted into the recording. Nevertheless, it may be necessary to add additional screenshots for documentation purposes.
When automating web processes, the screenshots are not automatically inserted because there is no “classic” server communication. Therefore, all screenshots must be inserted manually into the recording script.
- If necessary, position the recording bar to the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
- Click on the recording bar and select the “Take a screenshot” function in the function menu. A screenshot of the current SAP dialog is created.
- The screenshot you have taken is added to the recording script.
