Inactive steps

Each step of your recording (except the screenshots) are marked with an icon on the left side. This icon shows you the category of the step (input, verification, table, role, calculation step etc.).

Each step of your recording can be deactivated or reactivated by clicking once on the corresponding icon.
Deactivated steps can be recognized by the grayed-out icon and are not taken into account when the test case is replayed. They are also not included in the automatically created test case documentation. See also Test Case – Documentation / Create test case description

Use the “Hide inactive steps” option in the main menu to hide the steps you have deactivated in the test script. Screenshots are also hidden in this case, as these are also inactive steps that are only used for test case documentation and are irrelevant for the execution of the test case.
