Fixed Width Label Tables

In SAP there are display transactions that prepare data in table-like constructions that have no columns but are mapped row by row.

 

  1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
  2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Fixed With Text Table” function in the function menu.
  3. Select the header line of the table in the SAP window and confirm with the “Insert” button.
  4. Edit the table step with the “Edit step” button.
  5. Press the “+Column” button.
  6. Accept the column number as the column name, select the desired operation and add the fixed value or the variable name.
  7. Additional columns are added with the “+Column” button, additional rows with the “+Row” button.
  8. Confirm the entries with the “Apply” button.

 

 

Remark:
Access via key columns is possible for terminal tables in the same way as for standard SAP tables. For more information, see Test Case – Automation of SAP-Tables / Table step – Control via key columns.
