Drag & Drop

The “Drag & Drop” function is only available for SAP GUI applications.

1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Drag & Drop” function.
3. Click the “Select” button in the “Element” area.
4. Now select the element to be moved and click “Apply” to confirm your selection.
5. In the “Target” area, click on “Select” to set the target for your selection.
6. Now select the target for the element to be moved and click on “Apply” to confirm your selection.
7. Confirm your selection by clicking the “Add” button.

There is a 2nd way to record a drag & drop step:

1. Click on the recording bar and select the “Drag & Drop” function.
2. Click in the “Element” area.
3. Click on the “Record Drag & Drop” button.
4. Execute the drag & drop action in the SAP window.
5. Confirm your selection by clicking the “Add” button.

Remark:
The screen scaling must be set to 100% to ensure a smooth control of the elements in the SAP window during the “Live detection” (the red frame).
