Create / edit table step

You can recognize that recorded steps refer to a table in the SAP session by the “Table” note in the recorded step.

 

Create table step:

  1. Select the steps that you want to combine into a table step.
  2. Click the “Create table step from selection” button in the context menu at the bottom of the Test Pilot.
  3. The steps you selected are now combined as a table step and as such have their own icon.

 

 

Edit table step:

  1. Edit the table step using the “Edit Step” button.
  2. Edit the step.
  3. Confirm the changes with the “Apply” button.

 

The following changes are possible in the table step:

  • Add table column: “+Column” button (select the column in the active SAP window).
  • Delete table column: Remove column” button
  • Add row: Button “+Row
  • Delete row: Button “Remove row
  • Change operators for table columns: Button “Select operation
  • Use variables or fixed values

 

An additional selection can be used to control the following options in the table step:

  • Ignore selection
  • Check row selected
  • Check row not selected
  • Select line
  • Deselect row

 

 

Remark:
The screen scaling must be set to 100% to ensure smooth control of the elements in the SAP window during “live detection” (the red frame).
