Connect / link to SAP-Session

To record or play a test case, the suxxesso Test Pilot must be connected to an SAP session (SAP GUI or Web).

All SAP sessions that are already open are displayed in the drop-down menu for SAP connections. Click on an open session to connect the suxxesso Test Pilot to it. The “Refresh SAP sessions” button updates the list of open sessions.

From the drop-down menu, you can also open a new SAP session (SAP GUI or Web) with a role you created and automatically connect to it. These SAP sessions started from the suxxesso Test Pilot are marked as “linked” with the link icon. The “Settings” button takes you directly to the settings in the main menu.

The following applies to SAP GUI sessions:

• You can connect to a session opened manually in the SAP logon.
• You can open a session via a role from the suxxesso Test Pilot.
• Via “Main menu / Settings / General” you define whether linked SAP GUI sessions are automatically closed when closing the suxxesso Test Pilot.

For web sessions applies:

• Web sessions must always be started from the suxxesso Test Pilot (incognito mode).
• Web sessions are always closed automatically when closing the suxxesso Test Pilot.
