Changes in a referenced building block

The suxxesso Test Pilot detects an intermediate change of a building block and indicates this by a message and the colored background of the building block call.

1. Edit the building block call via the “Edit step” button.
2. The current behavior with changed building blocks is displayed in the building block call. See also General Settings / Settings – Test Case Execution.
3. To compare the original and the current version, press the “Show differences” button.
4. The differences will be displayed.
5. If you want to keep the previous version of the building block, save it using the “Save version as independent test case” button and insert this newly created building block in the test case.
6. Otherwise, end the display of the differences via the “Close” button.
7. If you want to work with the current version, select the option “Run current version” from the drop-down menu.
8. Confirm the changes with the “Apply” button.
9. The correct building block call is confirmed.
