Call Data Manager

As of release 8.0, it is possible to call up the Data Manager query of another test case during the runtime of a test case.

1. If necessary, position the recording bar at the desired location. See also Test Case – Editing / Position recording bar.
2. Click on the recording bar and select the “Call Data Manager” function.
3. In the selection dialog, select the relevant building block with the database query and confirm the selection with the “Insert” button.
4. Edit the Data Manager step.
5. Enter the relevant role (system) for the data selection.
6. Enter the input parameters manually. Pay attention to the correct spelling! The value of the input parameters is transferred via a fixed value or a variable.
7. Enter the result columns. You have 2 options for this:
   • Enter them manually
   • Execute the query in the building block and transfer the result columns using the “Take over from Data Manager” button.
8. Accept your entries with the “Apply” button.
